A super-simple coloring tutorial

Requested by [livejournal.com profile] xxmannequin at the ask the maker 2.0 at icon_talk.

>>

4 steps, translateable

01. Add a new Gradient Fill layer, with the color #320f2a at the bottom, and #ebe6ce at the top. Set this layer to Soft Light. This will brighten up her eyes, and therefor bring out her eye-color.
02. Add a new fill layer with the color #ede1c3. This soften things out, giving the smooth coloring type we are aiming for. Set this layer to 20% opacity.
03. Add a new Gradient Map layer with a gradient like this: #68183a at the bottom and #efdbee at the top. Set this layer to 38%. This is to make the icon delicate pink.
04. Stamp your layers (ctrl>alt>shift>e). Go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. Then Edit > Fade Sharpen and choose what you think looks best. Now your icon looks clean and crisp. And you're done!
