Ok, so I'm finally here, sorry it took so long, I had some major struggles with my own set. I'm always surprised at how quickly you're able to make a good set. These are seriously spectacular, I love every single one of these and I love how precisely you executed each prompt! some favorites:
The one I'm fixated on rn is 'Text me in the morning', like... WOW. The coloring!!! The background is STUNNING and looks exactly like a murky morning sky. And the way you colored the character is seriously spectacular, I'm in love with that muted yellow you used for her hair especially. The text use is great too. A close second in my favorite list is D.I.S.C.O! The coloring is absolutely delicious, it's soooo vibrant and I can't freaking believe you worked on a bw base, just... wow. (yeah I had to download the psd for this since I saw you offered it - I'm even more in love with this icon after having seen all the intricate technique that went into this.) I also adore the minimalism and creativity of 'Sandman', and the composition on 'levels' and the muted coloring on 'Sky full of stars' and the neon colors + text use on 'Rivers of Babylon' and 'Take me for a ride'.
Yay, a LOST category set! I'd totally like to live on that island too, especially if there was no smokey around, so, great choice of dream world :) LOVE the coloring on cat2, and the coloring & composition on cat4 and the overall look on cat3 - I interpret this as an icon about investigating the mysteries on the island, and if so, the visual look with the dark purples and the texture use fits that theme super well. Annnd the ac set, again HOW MASTERFUL ARE YOU I love your colorings here, especially the last one, it's perfection ;__; the colors are just so vibrant and clear and painty and gorgeous and I'm a little envious cause I wish I was as good at that coloring style. Alt2 is super fantastic too, love the texture use and the extreme far crop!
All in all: incredible set, so glad you did this challenge :) ♥
