20 (+ 16 alts) The Walking Dead for Challenge 04 - Keep It Simple at 20muses

If this was a Friends episode, it would be titled "The One With All The Alts"! I am apparently not very good at making simple icons. Most of these started out as the alts and then I had to simplify them! I kept wanting to add more brushes, text and textures and it was hard to restrain myself. :X
I'm still not sure if they're all simple enough, so please let me know.
I like the more complex versions of these better tbh, but maybe you disagree! :D

Fantastic colors and dramatic lighting/shadows in these! Great contrast in 4 and 11, they almost look like drawings instead of screencaps. I really like the sepia, almost grayscale tones and texture use in 5. Great minimalism and gradient use in 13; it's so soft yet lovely. I love the minimalism in 14 as well. That one simple brush adds a lot, but it's still so nicely contained and draws all focus to her. Finally, I love the colors, lighting and stock use in 19.
