The Umbrella Academy for 20muses

These are for challenge 09 at 20muses.
The theme was classic books. I chose easy mode and all my icons are more or less inspired by Frankenstein.
I wanted to do The Umbrella Academy because I love it so much and the atmosphere of the show inspired me. And the soundtrack is amazing.
I was planning on making the set look cohesive. That did not work.
Also, there's a lot of Klaus, just because.
And they might be slightly spoilery?

These are amazing!! ♥ I love how the first half is darker/more muted, and the second half has pastelly colors. Both sets are absolutely fantastic but I gotta say I especially love the atmosphere of the muted half, they're so... subtly creepy? I'm in love with the minimal, yet interesting compositions in 1, 3 and 5. The cropping and dark lighting in 2 just enhance the moodiness of the cap, it has this grim, bleak beauty to it that's just so enchanting. GORGEOUS text magic in 6, how do you text??, love the pale coloring too. 7 is so cool, love the contrasted bw and the composition / texture use! 8 is another with amazing composition, now I feel like I'm just listing them all but they're all so lovely ;__; Ofc I love so many from the vibrant set too, 19 is so intense and really makes you stop and look. 14 has a wonderful posteresque look and I'm always a fan of bw+color. The shiny pastels in 15 are out of this world, and I adore the compositions and colors in 17 & 18! 22 is incredible as well and the lighting in 25-26 is so magical. Awesome awesome job as always <3<3
