HOLY SHIT. 10 and 45 ARE ABSOLUTELY EXTRAORDINARY. I love your major emphasis on monochromatic coloring. You do it so well, especially with blues! 10 is a masterpiece cuz of the dark and light blues contrasting so beautifully against one another and the scratchy, painted texture sweeping across the images. It took me a minute to even find the subjects in the silhouette of 45, and that is AWESOME. I love when I have to really look hard and focus on a piece. The pink is so soft and romantic, and I love the air of mystery that the silhouette lends to the icon.

So man pretty icons! I love the colors and lighting of 44. The blending on 34 looks great. Of course I'm also a fan of 29 :D

Great batch! I really love your use of negative space and coloring on both of the Sawyer icons. Also, really like the coloring and grungy look on 12, 20 and 25.

Ok I hope you don't mind a reaaallly late comment, I've had this post open for ages now and I've meant to comment but uni + modding duties at tmf & watchnicon have prevented me from doing much lately .__.

BUT, THIS POST IS INCREDIBLE. Your style is so awesome and creative and everything looks good together even if they were for different challenges.
I've seen a lot of them at the7days, tmf and elsewhere, but I continue to be amazed by 2, 3, 7 (snagging this, idk why I hadn't already), 10 (snagging this too), 20, 24, 29, 30 (i don't remember if I commented to this at elite-inspired or not but damn this is awesome. love the concept and execution), 34, 39, 40, 41&42 (really adore the retro look in these), 48 and 52.

annd then there are lots of pretties I hadn't seen before: 9 (wow at the vibrancy!! definitely saving this), 13 (gorgeous vibrant pinks and yellows), 18 (love the coloring and the grunge), 26 (gah you're close crops are always flawless, gorgeous light and shadows here), 27 (so creative! I didn't have the time to vote during this turbo_rumble round but I totally would have voted for this. and probably all of your icons tbh :p), 27 (this too is insanely gorgeous, the color combination is perfect and unusual and I love how the blocks are arranged), 37 (awesome background in this + I love the little shadow/silhouette), 49 (flawless dramatic lighting), and 54 (love the intense reds and the texture effect!).

WOW. Just wow.
There are some icons that are pretty and wondeful, but there are some kind of masterwork, they're INSANE.
Look at #2, that Lydia icon is....i mean...HOW? and the Kate one with the numbers, and also that orange-blue rusty icon. OMG.
