First icon post since March, oops.

This is my entry for

somein30 round 13 - Icon crossing.
We had to make a cross of two randomly picked icons, and I chose extra hard mode, which means I used the screencap from one icon and the style from the other (or both). :D
There's a lot of pink, yellow and b&w in this post for some reason. I blame the randomly picked icons :P

This is my entry for round 04: Memory Lane at

somein30!
I chose extra hard mode, which means I'm showing the progression of my icons through both subjects and icon styles. :D
It was hard trying to recreate the old styles, trends and techniques and still making the icons look good, haha. Many of these are not what I would have made today if the theme was anything else. :P
But I tried recreating one style for each year from I started in 2007 to now.
There's an explanation for each icon at the end of the post and also an old icon to showcase my style at the time (I'm warning your eyes though) :)

This is my entry for the 20 different fandoms + rainbow challenge at

20inspirations.
This was a challenge! First I had problems making an indigo icon, and then suddenly indigo was all I could do! Oh and I hate green! It just doesn't work for me.
I might also have discovered absolutelybatty's light textures and the fact that paint brushes is something I can actually try using more.
