PSD request post 2.0

The old one was getting really full (334 icons with links), so I thought I'd make a new post so the page won't take so long to load. All the links on the old one should still work. :)
As with the old one, you can request psd's of any icon of mine, new or old. I don't have them all saved, but if you really really really want one I don't have I can try to recreate it.

And you can always just ask if you have any questions about the psd's. I know some of them can look a bit messy. :P

Yes, that has to do with the same thing you asked me in the PM. When I want to resize my icon (I always start making them in 300x300px) (in photoshop, yes), I ALWAYS stamp my layers (ctrl+shift+alt+e) to gather all the layers into one without losing them. I do this twice (hence why my icon almost always have 2 almost identical layers at the end). I leave the first one as it is and sharpen the second one using paint daubs (it's in the Filter gallery under Artistic) with these settings:

After I've done this I resize the icon to 100x100px. This way you preserve the details without getting jagged text or the oversharpened look.
Some times I adjust details after this too, but I do most things at 300x300px.

I'm not sure what to say, I don't know any special tricks tbh. I have a sharpening guide here if you want to try some other ways.

Well, it seems like I tried a lot (not to say everything) and I cannot achieve desired level. Even ur current icon, the face is sharp and smooth, I follow the steps and cannot achieve any effect that would be even similar. Painting the hair is like a nightmare, never works good for me. I read many tutorials, lot of ur tutorials and still no progress for me, I dunno why, maybe I just do not feel it? I will not waste more of your time, thank you for all ur words:)

I can't really say anything other than practice makes perfect! I've been doing this for 10 years and am still learning new things. :)

yeah, you're right, but it looks like I am blocked by one thing that cannot let me go further:) and its called small face details...
