Text text text, omg text! I've never ever considered myself good with text, so this was quite a challenge!
I do really like how some of these came out, others not so much. But I hope you'll all find something you like. :)

I think you can call this challenge knocked out of the park because these are incredibly well done and so beautiful. Seriously! I have so many favorites!

04 is just amazing coloring wise. Love how you've masterfully removed the background there, and the contrast between the blues and greens are amazing. The light work is spot on as well. And, oh my god, teach me how to use those kinds of fonts! Ah! The text is aces! I love that you went with a sharper font choice, something with points and corners. It really suits the quote you've chosen. 05 is equally as amazing. The coloring here is...out of this world, truly. I have color envy! Really lovely balance between natural skins tones and then vibrant background. It looks so smooth! 09 is gorgeous as well. I love the lighter color scheme here; it's very delicate and refined, I think. Makes her look all the more breakable. And I like that you've gone for smaller, unreadable text here as well. Really pretty overall. And then 19 is really wonderful too. I like the use of text covering the subject here. It works really well. Like he can only ever be the sum of the text. Very cool concept. And it doesn't hurt that the coloring of the subject, even though he serves as merely background noise to the text, is really gorgeous.

And about the text in 4, Idk what I do. :P I just set the tracking to 200 and use the sharp anti-aliasing. (The font is Orator Std, btw, I think it's one of the defaults?)

Gorgeous stuff! #3 is beautiful. I think the soft pastel background is beautiful, and the contrast between it and the text is lovely. I also really love the lighting of the text itself, it works really well in the icon. I really love #4, the colours are absolutely incredible - the contrast between the vibrant green and slight cyan tones is lovely, and the way the text works with those colours is wonderful!

#11 is all sorts of amazing. The colours are gorgeous, and the contrast of the white text against them works so beautifully. I think #12 is stunning as well, the monochromatic dark colours create a very intense mood, and the shadows work so well to emphasise that. I think the text fading in to the background creates a really cohesive icon overall as well!

You did a really good job with your 20inspirations set, I really love what you did with the text colors. I love #7, and the quote is really emblematic, and #19, because of the composition which is simple but work well and the font is nicely chosen ! :)

i absolutely love 3, the masking is just pure wizardry! and the colouring and text work so well in it, it's just w-o-w. gorgeous text on 8, the colour scheme is genius. and 9 is super simple yet so elegant. what is 12??? guhh you always slay me with your awesome monochrome.

OMG, your colorings and text use are just unreal. Like, the first one is freaking perfect - such bold, unusual coloring that works so well. LOVE the lighting, the text rotation, the little bars on the sides, just everything. The buttery coloring of 3 is fantastic as is the awesomely used background text (love the font!), and WHAT coloring magic is going on in 4, I can't even. Just wow. Really love the small text too and how it's in those gorgeous vibrant colors as well. 8 is another icon with eye-catchingly beautiful vibrany, and I love how you arranged and positioned the text! The deep turquoise and the super bold text use in 11 are awesomeness and wow at the lighting and pale monochrome in 12. I adore how extreme the text use is in 13, and WOW WHAT IS THE COLORING IN 14 so deep and muted and unusual and gorgeous and perfect. The tiny text really works too. I love this 20insp round cause it's making me like tiny text again.
17 too has jaw-dropping coloring and lighting, and wow at the crop and text use in 20.

All the other icons here are completely amazing too though so it feels a bit unfair to even choose favorites :O

I wasn't really into Lost when it first aired but now have bought the first season and intend to give it another go, sooo I'm memming this post just in case I'll become more of a Lost fan in the near future and will want to collect some gorgeous icons of it! :>

I'm hoping so too! I think I might have been too young to get the complicated plot and characters then, so there's a good chance I will this time. I fully admit part of my reason for the rewatch is that it looks like such an iconable show :D
