Omg, how perfect is this post??? I love all the monochrome, and this batch has the perfect amount of pink and purple imo :DDD I just love those colors, especially together! And wow at all the composition too, they're so creative and gorgeous.
My favorites are 1-3 (love the text use on 3 - so original!), 10 (this is a masterpiece, I love the blending and the textured look and just everything), 13 (flawless lighting and coloring, I love that this icon sort of merges a vintagey and a shiny look, it's unusual but definitely works here!), 19 (I can't deal with how awesome this icon is! The blocking, the unusual crops, the color porn, everything is just as perfect as can be) and 23 (I love the depth the lighting adds to the blocks, and amazing compisition again).
The boxing on 19 and 23 is out of this world! And I love, love, love the lighting on 14. There's so much I could say about how these icons rock but I'm just overwhelmed by all the awesome. Really great post!
Oh these are absolutely wonderful! I love the texture/lighting & text in 5(nabbing it!), lovelovelove the close-crop in 7, the browns and lighting in 13, plus 19 which is a real attention grabber <3
I adore this post, everything here is simply so stellar. I love all the monochrome you've got going on - that Juliet icon plus its variations is fab and I can't get over how awesome #4 looks with that combination of colours and text. Also I loved #20 when it was posted at rumblr and I still do; the blocking and light blobs is just so well done.
These are incredible! The purple colors are just insane! I especially love #4 (awesome font!), and #8. I love the crop of #7. The composition of #10 is lovely! I love the vibrancy and the border in #11. #15 is so creative, wow! #19 and #20 are gorgeous as well. Amazing colors and composition!
This is such a beautiful post, and your bold, intense colouring is truly gorgeous! The composition of the text work in #3 is divine, and I love the strong, rich colours you've used! The extreme crop and contrast and sharpening in #7 is absolutely amazing as well, it's such a clean icon but leave such a strong impact! #13 is beautiful, the lighting is incredible and the colouring is amazing, and the composition of #20 is truly amazing, between the contrasting colours and the use of light and shadow. Gorgeous work!
