Tbh I'm not sure what these icons are, I really like some of them and then others are just, I don't even know. :P
Also, can you believe this year it's been 10 years since Lost started? o_O

I am just so blown away by this post. I've never seen Lost, and right now I am kind of glad because if I had seen Lost, I'd be having a real dilemma right now. I mean...I'd want so many of these in my user pics???? I am actually sorely tempted to make 07 my default user pic anyway because it is just that stunning. Seconding the idea of bookmarking this post for inspiration as well because, damn, this is one of the reasons you are, hands down, one of my favorite makers ever. I just. Did I mention blown away? Okay. Good. Because yes.

Okay. I'm going to try and gather myself together to say some things about individual icons. Here we go.

One is totally perfect. The color combination is so strangely fascinating and perfect. And the use of textures in the foreground and in the background is done so well so that everything works together harmoniously. And yet it still has that layered strangeness about it. AND THE QUESTION MARKS ARE GREAT. So that's perfect. And then two! I've been excited about two since you posted it in the talk post. IT IS JUST SO PERFECT. The coloring is insanely creamy--yes, I said creamy--and the depth those sort of...paint-in-water textures/brushes add to the whole thing just makes it even better. And the close up is so weird and perFECT again. I think I am going to be saying perfect a lot and I'm sorry. Anyway, LOVE two. And three is so insane. I love the contrasting monochrome again, and the texture layered over top of the character works so well AND IT SHOULDN'T SO WHAT KIND OF MAGIC HAVE YOU USED???? And then four is also amazing, wow. The cutout/silhouette (AND THEY ARE ORANGE WHICH IS SO GREAT AND UNIQUE) is perfect (you are so good at this minimalist style), and I love your choice of a busier texture behind it as well. Again, kind of unique and unexpected choice for that style of icon, and yet it works so incredibly well because of the color combo.

AND THEN 06 IS JUST AMAZING. I love that retro style; it makes me so happy. And the quote is hilarious and awesome. And the color combo is, again, inspired. Actually, I'm just going to take a time out here to give a blanket statement: your color choices in this entire set are SPOT ON amazing, unique, fun, and slightly weird in that perfect, down-the-rabbit-hole way.

AND THEN 07 WHICH IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I JUST. WOW. It looks like it should be Game of Thrones or some other equally fantastic type medium, and yet it is Lost??? What even is that. MAGIC, I TELL YOU. The texture use, the soft, dreamlike lighting, and the coloring are all amazing. It is everything I love in an icon and more and I just. I am so in love.

Okay, and then I love how sharp and grainy 10 is; it adds so much emotional depth to the icon, and I don't even have any idea what's going on so. It's great!! And, in a similar vein, I adore the blurry, out of focus style of 16. It is super great.

AND THEN 12 AND 14, WOW. THEY ARE MAGNIFICENT. I love love love the shiny, chipped looking textures over their faces, and I don't usually like that, but here I love it so much that my sentence has become a run on so there's that. 12 is especially great because, again, color combinations so. WOW. It is a bit like outer space on a man's face which is trippy and awesome.

And then 13 is just so great with the unexpected cropping which is awesome. And I love the green, vintage type coloring as well. And, again going from one extreme to another, 18 is just so great. It is cluttered and strange and brilliant. I love it.

tl;dr I KNOW WHAT THESE ARE. THESE ARE AWESOME. <3

Also, how have you not watched Lost?! It's so amazing and such a classic now, I would dare to say. :D
