This is my entry for the 20 different fandoms + rainbow challenge at 20inspirations.
This was a challenge! First I had problems making an indigo icon, and then suddenly indigo was all I could do! Oh and I hate green! It just doesn't work for me.
I might also have discovered absolutelybatty's light textures and the fact that paint brushes is something I can actually try using more.

Indigo sucks! My icons turn out either purple or far too dark...

WOW!! ♥♥ How you do these.. So stunning, amazing, perfect set!! There is so much love here ♥ The first one ♥ wow! I aodre the monocomre and the lighting/colroing in it!!! It's perfection ♥ :) And the blend/levels use of 3; super amazing!! I love the lighting, too. 7 has stunning text use and the color/light :) Stunning!! I love the lighting also 8. And lovely text use/colors of 9!! And omg 12! Texture work is flawless and the ocntrast awesome. I love grunge style of 15 and circle in it. Love it!! The crop are just bretahtaking of 16 and 20 ♥♥ AMAZING SET!!! ;D

These are so pretty! Your texture use is out of this world! I love the effect and the colors you used in 1! The techniques on 7 and 9 are amazing, as well! My other favorites are 2, 3, 6, 8, 12, 14, 20, 24, 26, 28, and 31-36 ^^

I have, honestly, been staring at this post all day, and it keeps getting better every time I look at it. I swear it must be magic because every time I come back to this tab in my browser, I notice something new and beautiful about this set. It is so fabulous!

The first thing that I loved about this set immediately after opening the page was 01 and 16 and the wonderful coloring choices you've made there. I love the color pairings, first off, but I think I always say that to you so you must get tired of hearing it! I also love the technique though; it's like black and white with a splash of color only you've changed things up to monochrome with a splash of another color. I love the comic book type feel that gives both of them. The red/cyan combo in the Black Swan icon is so intense, and I love that you went with a bold coloring choice in that one as opposed to something dark or moody. I mean you still get, as I said, the intense and moody thing going, and it is super dramatic. But it is in such an unexpected way for that film to be portrayed color wise, and I love it!! And the cropping in 16 in so wonderful as well. If it was blown up large, I could see it as a movie poster, for sure!

Okay and then I went to do other things, but I came back a little white later only to be floored by 12, 13, and 14 because they are all STUNNING. 13 got me first because I was a little confused as to how I missed such a complete gem on my first look through of the post. The coloring is so deep, rich, and vibrant. I also love the subtle duplication effect. It gives the icon an extra something to jazz up the negative space. I also love the cracked look the paint textures give 12! What a great way to utilize that type of texture!! And again, deep, wonderful coloring. I am pretty much always impressed with you icon this chick; please icon her forever. And then 14 is just...the coloring, again, is just stunning. And combine that with lighting and texture perfection? I was/am swooning over it, I swear. Love it!!

And then I got called away to do something, but when I came back for my third look...15 and 17 had my heart!! 15 because...can you guess? If you said because CIRCLES, you were totally right. You + circles are my otp because I swear there hasn't been a time when you used circles in an icon that I haven't been head over heels in love with the result. No exception here, I LOVE THIS. It's like...a new, fun type of blocking only better because circles are always better. Also fantastic choice of subjects, yay! Then there's 17 which, again, wonderful subject choice; Beverly is amazing!! But the composition is what gets me here. I love how she's being suffocated out of the frame by the textures, and they kind of look like refined, muted blood splatter which is even better. I just love this one a lot!

And I would have started to compose this comment then except I am lazy as all get out so I went to read fanfic, but that was okay BECAUSE I CAME BACK A FOURTH TIME. And I was all 'hot damn the lighting in 19 and 20 is fucking incredible' because, well, it is incredible. 19 is particularly amazing, imo. It is so intense, and I'm just...lighting is so important to me, and it just makes me so happy when people go for the really dramatic stuff. And you've done it so perfectly here. Love it!

Also, 10? Beautiful coloring there. Actually, just as a blanket statement: beautiful coloring in the whole set (and also always because yeah).

And I also really love your other icons especially the Orphan Black ones, and this whole post is beautiful so thank you for posting it so I could stare at it all day. <3

My, everything is so creative! #3 is AWESOME, I love what you did with the composition. Your purple are so beautiful, #12, #14, #15, #16 and #17 are azmzing. I'm so intrigued by #17, seems a lot is going on! #26 and #34 have such a crazy light!

sorry for the super late comment idk how I missed this beautiful entry but OMG everything here is perfect! I love the vibrant grunge look on 1 especially, the composition and smoky look on 4 are fantastic. Love the bold contrast and lighting in 8 and the extra vibrant yellow/cyan on 10 :> 12 is really fascinating, love the colors and texture use, and the same goes for 14. 16 is beautifully colored, really love the unusual choice of combining the red lips with an otherwise monochrome icon, and 17 is just beyond amazing with the intricate texture use/composition!
and I'm still a huge fan of those tmf icons, especially 23, 24, 28, 30, 34 and 35 :)
