This set is a bit simpler than my usual style. I was trying to focus on cropping and coloring, especially in the AC set. I really hope you'll still like them :)

I love all the pastel coloring on this batch, the AC set looks awesome. The use of text is great, especially on Rivers of Babylon and Text me in the morning. I also really like the coloring of the last category icon :)

I love the colors and compositions here! 'I put a spell on you' is probably one of my favorites. The star texture goes so well with the general "theme" of this icon, and I like the little splotches of orange. 'Purple rain' is also really lovely with the vivid and surreal coloring mixed with that texture use. Love the vivid colors in 'D.I.S.C.O.' and the text use and muted coloring in 'Text me in the morning.' The coloring in Cat5 is also really gorgeous and dreamy when combined with the blurred underwater look in that cap. As for the alts, 2 is beautiful and I like the combination of yellow and light red.

Ok, so I'm finally here, sorry it took so long, I had some major struggles with my own set. I'm always surprised at how quickly you're able to make a good set. These are seriously spectacular, I love every single one of these and I love how precisely you executed each prompt! some favorites:

The one I'm fixated on rn is 'Text me in the morning', like... WOW. The coloring!!! The background is STUNNING and looks exactly like a murky morning sky. And the way you colored the character is seriously spectacular, I'm in love with that muted yellow you used for her hair especially. The text use is great too.
A close second in my favorite list is D.I.S.C.O! The coloring is absolutely delicious, it's soooo vibrant and I can't freaking believe you worked on a bw base, just... wow. (yeah I had to download the psd for this since I saw you offered it - I'm even more in love with this icon after having seen all the intricate technique that went into this.)
I also adore the minimalism and creativity of 'Sandman', and the composition on 'levels' and the muted coloring on 'Sky full of stars' and the neon colors + text use on 'Rivers of Babylon' and 'Take me for a ride'.

Yay, a LOST category set! I'd totally like to live on that island too, especially if there was no smokey around, so, great choice of dream world :) LOVE the coloring on cat2, and the coloring & composition on cat4 and the overall look on cat3 - I interpret this as an icon about investigating the mysteries on the island, and if so, the visual look with the dark purples and the texture use fits that theme super well.
Annnd the ac set, again HOW MASTERFUL ARE YOU I love your colorings here, especially the last one, it's perfection ;__; the colors are just so vibrant and clear and painty and gorgeous and I'm a little envious cause I wish I was as good at that coloring style.
Alt2 is super fantastic too, love the texture use and the extreme far crop!

All in all: incredible set, so glad you did this challenge :) ♥

Gorgeous, and they don't look simple at all. Well, for me half the work is text, so once I leave that out, I call icons simple, too, so maybe that's what you meant.

I'm not sure what my fave is, they're all great, but I think it's Amanita with her vibrant colors.

I love the painted-on coloring on all of those. I am trying to get that effect right, but so far no luck. Especially Riley in Ac #5, so much love!

I'm chuckling at the Castiel icon - those complementary colors, those stars!

I especially like the two "dark" ones, there is so much visible detail in the dark parts.

I think I like the alt of your purple better - that dark rock behind her gives such a great contrast to her hair.

the colors and text and composition on i put a spell on you is absolutely wonderful. i love the coloring and the text on sky full of stars, and the coloring and background on purple rain. i really love the text on should i stay or should i go on rivers of babylon, text me in the morning, and take me for a ride. the colors and composition on all of this is beautiful as well. i also really love the colors on disco and the negative space on sandman. sandman in general is just amazing. i really love the cropping and coloring of ac 2, ac 3, and ac 5 too. and all of the alts/rejects are phenomenal too ofc.

yours colorings are fantastic, text usage are always on point, you're just so creative!
wow! all of the icons in the alt set are amazing, i don't see why they should never see the light of day lol!
i really love "i put a spell on you", the colors are so perfect together, then the decoration you've used matches the icon.
