Icons for somein30

First icon post since March, oops.

This is my entry for somein30 round 13 - Icon crossing.
We had to make a cross of two randomly picked icons, and I chose extra hard mode, which means I used the screencap from one icon and the style from the other (or both). :D
There's a lot of pink, yellow and b&w in this post for some reason. I blame the randomly picked icons :P

These are so incredible! I love so much about every single one of them!

Mostly though it's the super, super pretty pinks and purples that are catching my eye first.
The composition of 5 and 11, and the grunginess of 2 and the brightness of 12 and even the way the pink/red of the Knight's cloak on 8 pops off of the icon are all out-of-this world gorgeous.
Apart from that I also adore crop on 1, 17 and 20 and the lighting on 20 as well 😍😍😍

I have a soft spot for black&white+gold/yellow, so 6 looks perfect me. I also love the look of 18. The composition is great and yet it looks so clean and simple.

WOW, that was fast! And with such an incredible set too!! :O Well, first of all: WELCOME BACK, I really missed your icons ♥ What a return though! You nailed every aspect of this challenge, the new icons are the perfect mix of the parents and yay for Extra hard mode! (I'm attempting it too but cursing some of the previous caps I've picked, WHY)

I love that despite the random icons this post somehow looks super cohesive?? The bw + soft pastels look is absolutely gorgeous!

Some individual faves: 2 (spectacular color combo + I love the thought process of using the geometric brushes!), 3 (gorgeous lighting, the monochrome has so much depth, and the text makes it all pop, I might have to upload this one although I'm already using many of your Scofield icons...), 6 (wow love the way you combined elements here! The side crop works perfectly, really nicely balanced composition with the text in the middle, and the text work itself is of course perfection), 8 (the second parent must be one of the oldest icons that still has a working link in this comm, so the difference is astounding — the new coloring is so much cleaner and I love the toned down contrast), 10 (another perfect combination of parents, really love how different this is from the second parent's style, yet uses all its best features in a different way, really awesome coloring and texture use!), 12 (just gorgeous, gorgeous coloring and text), 18 (love the minimalistic composition and lovely color combination), and 20 (love the grunginess here, the coloring gives this new icon a totally different vibe from the first parent, and the smoky/grungy lighting is super pretty too!).

OMG!!! Welcome back, I have really missed you :D <3 I am super excited that you choose extra hard mode! Fantastic result!<3 I love pink, yellow and b&w coloring, the composition is unbelievable here ♥ So, so hard to pick fave but I will try.

3 — I adore the crop, strong coloring/contrast and text!
4 — Love that purple coloring, flower texture is perfect behind her back and I love the contrast her face
6 — Perfect text! I love b&w color and yellow text; brilliant balance
10 — Amazing!! <3 Love her pink hair<3
11 — 12 STUNNING coloring. Love the contrast. Levels is brilliant in 11 and her hair are magnificent! Text is so amazing and I love the balance both of them
13 & 17 Stunning crop and text:)
15 — The circle her face is stunning, it's work really well and I love the colors
16 — I adore the low contrast, texture work and hos she blending there. Love the pastel coloring.
19 — Love the vibrant color and texture work!

Wow, this are so gorgeous!
I love the crop and coloring of 1, the texture of 2, and the text placement of 6. I love the composition of 7 and the way you made the color pop in 10. The paint-like composition of 12 and the crop and text placement of 13 is perfection! The pop of color and text placement of 17 looks great and I really like the text and grittiness of 20!

Stunning set. The crop of 1, 4, 6, 13, 17, 20 are amazing . Loved the composition and coloring of all the icons, but particularly 2, 3, 6, 10, 17 and 18. Lighting of 3, 7, 9 are amazing, and the text work of 6 and 13 are lovely.
