Icons for somein30

First icon post since March, oops.

This is my entry for somein30 round 13 - Icon crossing.
We had to make a cross of two randomly picked icons, and I chose extra hard mode, which means I used the screencap from one icon and the style from the other (or both). :D
There's a lot of pink, yellow and b&w in this post for some reason. I blame the randomly picked icons :P

WOW, that was fast! And with such an incredible set too!! :O Well, first of all: WELCOME BACK, I really missed your icons ♥ What a return though! You nailed every aspect of this challenge, the new icons are the perfect mix of the parents and yay for Extra hard mode! (I'm attempting it too but cursing some of the previous caps I've picked, WHY)

I love that despite the random icons this post somehow looks super cohesive?? The bw + soft pastels look is absolutely gorgeous!

Some individual faves: 2 (spectacular color combo + I love the thought process of using the geometric brushes!), 3 (gorgeous lighting, the monochrome has so much depth, and the text makes it all pop, I might have to upload this one although I'm already using many of your Scofield icons...), 6 (wow love the way you combined elements here! The side crop works perfectly, really nicely balanced composition with the text in the middle, and the text work itself is of course perfection), 8 (the second parent must be one of the oldest icons that still has a working link in this comm, so the difference is astounding — the new coloring is so much cleaner and I love the toned down contrast), 10 (another perfect combination of parents, really love how different this is from the second parent's style, yet uses all its best features in a different way, really awesome coloring and texture use!), 12 (just gorgeous, gorgeous coloring and text), 18 (love the minimalistic composition and lovely color combination), and 20 (love the grunginess here, the coloring gives this new icon a totally different vibe from the first parent, and the smoky/grungy lighting is super pretty too!).
